My photographs cannot capture the deep beauty of their subjects. Instead I think of them as windows into a moment, a place, a wonderful memory.
After embracing Islam in 2002, Peter undertook a series of journeys to cities with deep Islamic influence, such as Damascus, Aleppo, Fes, Granada, Medina, Konya, and Istanbul.
These are the photos from that trip which had a deeply inspiring impact on him, both spiritually and in his creative work.

Peter's art & photography are found in the collections of diverse audiences including the Saudi Arabian Royal Family, the Prime Minister of Australia’s office, famed New York entrepreneurs, an embassy in Jakarta and global celebrities.
His work has been exhibited in dozens of galleries and at events around the world over the past decade, from the prestigious Dolmabahçe Art Gallery in Istanbul to the Sharjah Islamic Arts Festival and, Islamic Arts Museum in Malaysia.
