Reflections on Hajj & New Hijri Hopes

One of the greatest gifts I reflected upon was the blessing of meaningful work.

Bismillah. It’s been around 2 weeks since returning from Hajj.

Hajj is a deeply powerful experience. It’s a time to reflect on one’s entire life story. The innumerable blessings, personal challenges, past mistakes and future hopes.

No blog or social post will capture the magnitude of the journey. Moments of intense inspiration and soul-wrenching awe, moments testing the limits of endurance and moments of overwhelming inner peace.

Hajj is a time to dive deep into yourself and think about one’s purpose in life. Seeking clarity during silent moments sitting alone under the stars, or surrounded by millions of pilgrims surrendering to their flow and orbit.

I looked back on my life with intense gratitude, tears of thankfulness for my family, my health, my friends, my journey and the countless blessings that filled pages of my notebook. Alhumdulilah.

One of the greatest gifts I reflected upon was the blessing of meaningful work. My creative work has always been interconnected to my spiritual path. Design from the heart. At the arrival of this New Hijri Year, I’m filled with hopes for the next chapter ahead. Wishing you all a beautiful and blessed journey.

Peace, PGP.S.
